Critical skills list South Africa 2022

The Critical Skills List South Africa 2022 has been released by the South African Department of Home Affairs. The list was made public on February 3rd, 2022, although there is now conflicting information from the DHA and the VFS, making it unclear whether the previous Gazetted list is still in use for adjudication as of February 2nd, or whether this is a notice of the new list (hopefully allowing for a transitional period to make room for changes or updates to the adjudication process). The DHA website has not yet published the list.

The Minister has not yet withdrawn the old list, according to VFS SA, who is currently waiting for instructions from Home Affairs.
